In 2001 it was the second largest French brand for children after Petit Bateau.
Absorba was bought in 1991 by the Zannier Group, itself becoming Kidiliz Group SASU in 2016.
In November 2020, Kidiliz went into liquidation.
The brand name was then purchased by ÏDKIDS or ID Group SAS, a French group of ready-to-wear and children's toys.
