It is or was a subsidiary of Finanziaria d'Investimento Fininvest SpA, doing business in abbreviated form as Fininvest SpA, an Italian holding company controlled by the Berlusconi family and managed by Silvio Berlusconi's eldest daughter Marina Berlusconi.
Fininvest SpA, together with Cecchi Gori Group Fin.Ma.Vi. SRL (bankrupt), was also jointly controlling Pentadistribuzione SRL, the latter also being responsible for film distribution in Rome through the Teseo circuit.
